Here are just some of the wonderful comments made by customers as they voted for us in the 'Keep It Local' campaign. Thank you to everyone! Please register my vote for 'Little Sanctuary', formerly 'Gaia Tree', as my favourite shop in your 'keeping it local' competition. Many Thanks.I am a frequent visitor of the Gaia tree soon to be the Sanctuary and I would like to vote to keep Winchester Green. I have worked in Winchester for the past 2 years and love the town and its smaller shops, where you find the individual items compared to the main chain stores. You have my vote.Little Sanctuary! If i say it more than once will it count as another vote? Little Sanctuary! I'm forever hopeful...I was in 'Little Sanctuary' today, taking Sanctuary from a busy day, popping in to see Donna and bumped into Mark, we took time out and had good chat, over a Cappacino. Inspiring as it was, I consequently, I would like to nominate 'Little Sanctuary' as my favourite shop in Winchester, bless you, as I have known Mel before, when she had the Gaia Tree. Now Mel has followed her own heart and opened 'Little Sanctuary' A spiritual coffee shop and boutique, that I so enjoy taking time out in and support. Is a lovely place to be and to meet people, inspiring and like minded, always with a welcoming smile and warm spirit. Bless you and Thank you.I would like to nominate Little Sanctuary on Jewry Street in Winchester because it is entirely uniqe and a safe, supportive environment where people feel free to be themselves. Also, fair trade tea and coffee is absolutely the way forward! Thank you!The Little Sanctuary, Jewry Street, Winchester. I nominate this shop as it never fails to to make me smile, from the friendly service, to the querky bits & pieces it sells - & who could leave without trying their Banoffee Coffee?!!!My vote goes to Little Sanctuary, in Jewry Street. Why? Lovely people and it is, as the name suggests, a haven of peace in the hubbub of shopping and carrier bag wielding consumers.

I had heard excellent things about the shop from other people but never found the time to pop in, one day when I was feeling low and vulnerable I popped in to browse and had the most wonderful turkish delight flavoured hot chocolate. The feeling of peace, acceptance and being grounded was overwhelming. I was so enthralled by the shop and the lovely people who work there that I booked a tarot reading and healing session. The Little Sanctuary has blown me away: I feel as though there is somewhere I can go and relax and meet other like minded people.

Enough of the rambling - best wishes
