Cassandra Eason - A Womans Intuition...

It took a motorcycle accident to transform Cassandra Eason from a housewife and mother into an author and broadcaster. Cassandra was originally trained in teaching and took an honours psychology degree while bringing up her five children with the intention of training as an Educational Psychologist. But her middle son Jack aged two and a half was to change all that...

‘My husband had been working overnight in London, 40 miles away, and we were waiting for him to come home. Suddenly Jack looked up from his breakfast and said, quite casually: “Daddy’s gone roly-poly off his motorbike but he’s all right.” Then he carried on eating as though nothing had happened. ‘At that time my husband’s bike had just skidded on a patch of oil and he had gone sliding across the motorway. He and the bike were a bit battered and bruised but otherwise, as Jack had said, he was all right… We synchronised the times because the clock on the motor bike stopped on impact’

When she mentioned the incident to other mothers, Cassandra heard other inexplicable stories and this led to her first book The Psychic Power of Children, published by Random Century in 1991, and brought out in a revised version by Foulsham in 1994.

Over the many years since Jack’s experience, Cassandra has had more than 60 books published in the UK and all over the world, translated into thirteen different languages, including Japanese, Russian, Hebrew, Portuguese, Spanish, and Chinese. She has started new areas of work in Sweden where she writes directly for the Swedish market and holds regular lecture tours and healing workshops. More recently she has become popular in America where she is working for Crossing Press directly, as well as having sold US rights to other publishers including Sam Weiser, Sterling Kensington Press and Ulysses. Her books have been serialised around the world including in the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror and the News of the World magazine in the UK, in The National Enquirer in the US and Woman’s Day and New Ideas in Australia. She has her own psychic column in the national women’s magazine Best and in Writers News.

She has been acknowledged as world expert on parent/child intuitive links and has appeared many times on television and radio, including Sky News, ITV’s Strange but True, BBC 1’s Heaven and Earth and Richard and Judy, on NBC and Paramount in the US and Channel 4 in Sweden. In the UK she had her own weekly mini series Sixth Sense on a Cable network for a number of years, moving on to Granada Breeze where she was resident 'white witch' for over two years - on Psychic Livetime. She acted as psychic consultant/resident expert on the successful ITV Magic and Mystery series. She has analysed dreams on the Channel 4 Big Brother series 3 and 4 and Celebrity Big Brother. Cassandra has lectured at Oxford, London and Glasgow Universities on the paranormal and was, for three years, Honorary Research Fellow at the Alister Hardy Research Centre in Oxford and counselled those who reported psychic and religious experiences.
